Alycen Whiddon is an Urban Planner and Landscape Architect with more than 25 years professional experience in community planning and land development policies and regulations. Alycen has demonstrated a commitment to sound urban design and environmental principals to create smart growth solutions. She directs projects ranging from parks and openspace master plans, urban redevelopment strategies, downtown master plans, corridor studies, land development codes, historic preservation regulations, and watershed protection.
Alycen is currently a Principal with Tunnel Spangler Walsh and Associates. Her experience includes formally serving as an Assistant Director and as
City Zoning Administrator with the City of Atlanta Bureau of Planning. Prior to 1985, Alycen practiced planning and landscape architecture in London, England with Bechtel.
